CONFERENCE BUS

Participants who wish to use this option are kindly requested to arrive to the Institute of Physics in Bratislava (Dubravska cesta 9, 845 11 Bratislava, Slovakia)
on 14th May. The scheduled departure is at 18:00 (6:00 pm).

Bus transfer from the conference back to Bratislava will be organized as well and is scheduled on 19th May with departure from the Casta-Papiernicka at 13:00 (1:00 pm). The bus will arrive to the Institute of Physics.

Transport to the Institute of Physics

There is a direct bus connection from Vienna airport to Bratislava main bus station (Autobusová stanica, Mlynské nivy) operated by Slovak Lines and Flixbus. From there, you may take bus 21 to Patrónka. You'll need 30 min ticket for 0.90 € + luggage 0.45 € (discounted 30 minute ticket). From Patrónka, you will walk 5-10 min westward to our institute.

It is also possible to take TAXI from Vienna airport directly to the Institute. It costs around 60€ and it needs to be ordered in advance (e.g. here).

If you arrive to Bratislava Main Train Station (Hlavná stanica), you have to walk 5 min to the main road, and there you may take bus 21 or 63. You'll need 30 min ticket for 0.90 € + luggage 0.45 € (discounted 30 minute ticket).

When you arrive to Bratislava Airport, you may take buses 96+63 or 61+63 or 61+21, changing the bus at AVION-SHOPP.PARK or Trnavská or Račianske mýto. Please take care that, to change the bus, sometimes you have to walk a bit and cross the road, in order to find the correct bus stop, even if it has the same name as where you got off. You need 60 min ticket for 1.20 € + luggage 0.45 € (discounted 30 minute ticket).
